High above Montabaur, an attractive town in the Westerwald region, there is the palace hotel of the same name. It is a hotel operation with added value. In addition to overnight stays, the company also offers its guests rooms for events and meetings. Two of these seminar rooms were completely renewed in August 2017. On nearly 80 m² each, seminar and meeting guests will find meeting rooms in a pleasantly relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The room design was kept deliberately "unexcited". Clear shapes, friendly materials and colours ensure a very attractive an unusual ambience.
Particular wellness accents were added by tasteful high-quality material combinations.
The design includes brown, felt-covered sliding panels to break up the wall surfaces while also serving a darkening effect and improving room acoustics. A warm-grey woven carpel covering the entire floor adds comfort along with further optimising room acoustics. Large oak wood frames add a natural note in combination with design and function. This high-quality framework surrounds presentation segments in the popular “Mondrian style“. The magnetic white elements can be written on and integrate optimally into any seminar and training programs. The other rectangular elements in shades of beige serve a visual effect and optimally merge deign and function. The wiring and projection surfaces are enlarged with white-coated sliding panels that harmonise visually with their felt-covered counterparts. There are raised ceiling panels as special furnishing elements in the middle of the two rooms. They frame the seminar table and chairs placed below. Light coves in the ceiling panels and to the sides of the presentation walls can provide indirect lighting in various colours, controlled by iPad. A slow colour change in RGB colours or a comfortable warm-white indirect ambience lighting can be chosen.
The necessary technical features were implemented in addition to the particularly tasteful room design. The entire lighting system and presentation technology in the two rooms can be controlled on an iPad. The projector in one of the rooms can be extended by a ceiling lift and will be concealed invisibly in the ceiling when not in use.
The entire interior development, furnishing materials and furniture use B1 quality. All in all, this is an interior design concept that tastefully meets all requirements to technology and function and presents them in a new design.
