After a very short conversion time of only four weeks, Starbucks now present their first reserve bar in Europe at the Zürich airport. On an impressive 320 m², visitors can find an inviting guest area that forms a true oasis of enjoyment between home, work or the next holiday destination, inspiring travellers to linger and relax.
The new interior design concept of Starbucks relies on natural materials. Puristic and yet comfortable furnishings in light oak wood harmoniously fit in with the light, rustic parquet of European oak. Accents are added by the open, sprayed-black industrial ceiling and the smoothed walls with their concrete-look. Playful wall applications in the same shade as the concrete look have the appearance of multiple mosaics and decoratively segment the room in addition to the individual bar and seating areas.
Apart from the extremely short time-frame, the airport was a particularly challenging location for HEIKAUS AG. The highest safety standards had to be observed and met. Material deliveries and work on Sundays and holidays required optimal logistics preparation, planning and implementation. The interior development team of HEIKAUS AG was able to implement this demanding concept in an impressively short construction time from 13 March - 13 April 2017.
